Successful Mixed Summer League

It proved to be another successful Mixed Summer League season for Caradon, as all 4 teams achieved impressive final standings.
The Plymouth Mixed Summer League is played from the end of May until the end of July on weekday nights at venues in Plymouth. It's a great way to keep up fitness, keep playing hockey and a chance to see your team mates after the end of the winter season. Mixed hockey is often very fast paced and played in hotter climates than your regular hockey - yes even the British summer stepped up the heat this year!
Our four teams played weekly over the past 8 weeks at Marjons, Lipson and Bullpoint with plenty of goals being scored and the final standings were as follows:
Caradon Lions - Premier Division, 2nd Place
Caradon Beavers - Division 4, Winners
Caradon Kittens, Division 5, 3rd Place
Caradon Clans, Division 6, Winners
There is a break now from hockey as we all enjoy the summer holidays, ready and refreshed for pre-season training, tournaments and friendlies coming up in September.
