Caradon Hockey Club has received £1,000 worth of kit, courtesy of local McDonald’s franchisee Dave Wynne. Dave, who owns and operates 12 restaurants in Plymouth and Cornwall, supplied the club with new shirts for their mixed U8 and U10 teams, as well as the respective boys and girls U12 and U14 teams.
Franchisee Dave Wynne, who is a keen supporter of local hockey, said: “I’m thrilled to be able to supply Caradon Hockey Club with kit this season, and hope all the junior players enjoy their new shirts. It’s fantastic that as a local business we’re able to contribute to encouraging young people to get involved in sport in the local area.”
Claire Brown, Kit Officer for the Caradon Hockey Club, said: “We’re very grateful to Dave Wynne for his support, and our players are very pleased with the donation. Our junior teams enjoy regular training sessions as well as competitive matches and tournaments, and I think the new shirts will give them a real boost this season!”
