We survived! Hockey v Rugby

Thank you everyone who came out to support the Hockey v Rugby matches at Lux Park on Bank Holiday Monday.
Despite a few bumps and bruises, everyone was still smiling at the end and gained a lot of respect for each others sports that's for sure! The final scores were 14-0 to Caradon in the hockey, and 9-2 to Liskeard-Looe Ladies RFC in the rugby (one try = 1 point).
Thanks to the umpires and referees for both sports, Liskeard-Looe for the post match bacon butties for players, Burcombe Haulage for their sponsorship of the cost of the hockey pitch hire, the supporters of both teams who came along with plenty of voice and Glen Rogers for the photos which can be found at: Hockey v Rugby Photo Gallery
We raised £150 for St Lukes Hospice from the charity buckets.
