Caradon Juniors End of Season Presentation 2019
Posted by Helen Manley on 27 March 2019
Caradon HC Juniors rounded off an extremely successful season with a celebration at Liskeard Public Hall on Monday 25th March. The club have 88 enthusiastic junior members, from 6 to 16 years old. These children have represented Caradon HC at all county tournaments from U10 level up to U16s. This season, both the U10 Boys and U10 Girls squads have qualified to play in the U10 In2 West Regional Finals up at Bristol on 5th, May. A wonderful achievement for some of our youngest members! We are also incredibly well represented at inter-county tournaments with sixteen of our juniors playing for Cornwall in their respective age categories.

Our Junior of the Year trophy was awarded to Ben Hedley. Ben is an extremely talented hockey player (and lovely lad) who was selected to play for the GB Lions Squad this season. As part of this squad, Ben has had the opportunity to play competitive hockey in Malaga and Ireland. Ben also assists with the younger juniors at training and plays junior hockey as part of the U14 Boys squad and senior hockey for our Men's teams. What a worthy winner of this accolade he is!
Caradon HC Committee would like to thank the coaches and volunteers who have contributed to such a successful season, to the families that support our club and most importantly, to the wonderful juniors. Our club is blessed to have such enthusiastic, talented and friendly juniors and we look forward to seeing you all again when training recommences in September.
Thank you Glen Rogers for the evening's photos.
