10-4-10 raises over £8k for 10 charities!

The 10-4-10 fundraiser ran from October 2017, when the ten charities were chosen by club members at the launch quiz night. Since then we have taken on a series of ten exciting and diverse challenges and events which culminated into the final two events – a Hockey World Cup Festival at Lux Park, as part of the build up to the Hockey World Cup which took place in London in July, and the draw for the 10-4-10 Raffle.
Other fundraising events have included a Christmas fancy dress hockey match, a fantastic concert by Caradon player Charlie Harris, a Valentine’s Bingo at Dobwalls, a Pub Quiz in St Neot, the delicious Big Breakfast Morning, 19 Caradon members taking on and completing the Plymouth Half Marathon and most recently, club members, family and friends walking the 17 miles from the former Saltash Essanians pitch to Caradon’s home pitch in Liskeard.
Charities who will benefit from the final fundraising total of £8,300 are: Cornwall Blood Bikes, RNLI, Macmillan Nurses, Ellie's Haven, Teenage Cancer Trust, British Heart Foundation, Children's Hospice South West, Cornwall Air Ambulance, CHICKS and SportsAble.
