The men's 2's took on the men's 3's today in a much anticipated rematch. As a game it didn't disappoint in terms of effort, great play and passion. The final score was 10-1 to the 2's with Martyn Bevins scoring 4, Mike Parkinson also scoring 4 and Jon P-R scoring 2 (1 of which was shamelessly stolen from Bevins..) Some great performances today from both teams highlighting the strength and depth of hockey in the club at the moment. Notable performances from 3's players Fenton Robins scoring a brilliant goal and an annoying good performance from Joel Tamblyn in goal who made many many fantastic saves. The majority of the 2's goals came from simple hockey and good decision making. Still lots for both sides to work on but the future of men's hockey in the club is looking in pretty good shape. Thanks to everyone for taking part and thank you to Glayne and Marcus for umpiring.
