A convincing win for Caradon Men's 2's today against Bodmin 3 Development team. The final result was 10-1and really this result flattered our opposition. We were not really fired up in the first half and played as 11 individuals, admittedly with some great moments but on the whole a slightly disappointing half. Goals came from Ben P-R, a calmly converted P Flick into the top corner from Sam P-R, then Drew Champion converted 1 closely followed by Liam Champion who smashed in our 4th and last of the half. We did concede 1 one goal in this half when stand-in goalie MIke Parkinson who had a fantastic game took pity on Bodmin gently kicking back a ball to a Bodmin striker so that he could have another go and then allowng him to smash it into the backboard. Very kind Mike. Our newest signing Elliot Grange got his first for the club in a long while along with Jake Horton, 2 for Jon P-R, ! for Tim Wright who selflessly tipped in a Drew Champion top bins rocket just to make sure and Ben P-R got 1 more. We gelled much better as a team in the second half and looked much better. We missed several opportunities but were looking pretty good by the end. Another great settling match before we play matches that actually earn us points. Well done guys.
