Women's 1st XI Vs Cardiff University 1

Cardiff University were the latest Welsh visitors to Lux Park, they played some outstanding hockey to take a convincing 6-0 win and all three points back across the Prince of Wales bridge.

Caradon were facing an uphill challenge, when the students took the lead within the first minute and a  then scored a second within 5 minutes. 

Gradually as the game continued, the home team showed moments of good hockey but simply could not keep up with the students slick pass and move hockey. Jules Butterworth and Abbi Ingram managed to keep center of the pitch more competitive but the students kept creating chances and scored some quite simply excellent goals. 
Despite some excellent defending by Emma Gliddon and Daisy Hunn and the whole team showing great character Cardiff finished deserved winners and Caradon will look to bounce back next week when they travel to Swindon.
