| Match Report | Newquay 2s: 2 Tough game today against Newquay 2s. Plenty of missed chances early on for Caradon after a great rallying team talk by Claire Brown. Unfortunately Newquay were the first team to score after 11min. After regrouping at half time Caradon went out again with more great play but again Newquay scored in the 43rd minute. Caradon pulled one back in the 68min after a great through ball by Kerenza Bunt sending Lila Johns through 1 on 1 with the keeper which she nearly slotted past making it 2-1. Plenty of positives today but also a few things to work on at training. Player today went to Lila and donkey was contested between Kirsty Merrin for trying to take the restart after Caradon had scored, which we somehow nearly got away with and Kerenza for looking for her stick, that she had in her hands. |
