| Match Report | Caradon 3s - 0 It was always going to be a tough game today against joint 2nd in the league but the first 20min was all Caradon. We had a lot of short corners but the opposition keeper had a blinder. Unfortunately we couldn’t convert any of our chances and against the run of play we found ourselves 2-0 down. Digging deep in the second half and trying to find our rhythm we kept pushing with even more short corners but still unable to convert them. The score would have been worse had it not been for our defence with Anna Gubbins making some great saves and Vanessa Scott sweeping up countless balls earning herself player of the match. With a lot of running in the second half the team tired and unfortunately the young Plym Uni team pushed on scoring two more goals in the last 10mins. Player Nessa and donkey to Jayne Longrigg for many things but at least she was in the country this week. |
