Caradon Men's 1st XI showcased their resilience and determination as they hosted ISCA at Lux Park this weekend, securing a resounding 6-0 victory. Coming off a defeat in the previous week, Caradon aimed to bounce back and climb back into the top three of the league table.

Caradon started the match with a renewed sense of strength, applying early pressure. However, similar to the past few weeks, they initially struggled to convert their dominance into goals and faced the threat of being caught on the counter. The breakthrough came when Neil Spencer forced the ball over the line from a rebounding short corner, settling the nerves and setting the tone for Caradon.

The short corners continued to be effective for Caradon, with David Fasey scoring twice from the top of the D in the first half. The team entered halftime with a comfortable 3-0 lead, showcasing their dominance in the opening period.

The second half mirrored the first, with Caradon maintaining control and continuing to create opportunities. Despite ISCA's defensive efforts limiting the damage from open play, Caradon capitalised on short corners again. David Fasey completed his hat-trick from the top of the D, and Ollie Dinnis added to the tally with a well-executed routine.
