Match Report | Ladies 3’s team were on great form Saturday with Player of the Match Kerryn Walsh playing a key part in their 5-0 victory against Camborne School of Mines (CSofM). Congratulations Jayne Longrigg on your Home Hatrick. Bagging her first goal in the early fifth minute.
What an epic game filled with pace, quick one two balls and meaningful passes. Jo Maudsley popped in the remaining two goals with an impressive final assist from Beth Schratz. Four goals in the first half gave Caradon a strong lead over their youthful opposition.
Kirsty Merrin your disallowed goal and close calls nearly seen Caradon 7-0 up, this player really does add magic to any match. Leah Rowe stepped up and helped out, defending CSofM attacking play.
Full credit to the teams coach Clare Poad. It was clear to see this team gave a top class performance as a result of their weekly training sessions.
This game will give Caradon the confidence to face top of the table Duchy next weekend. Well done ladies this really was an epic game to watch. |
