Match Report

Caradon travelled to Falmouth looking to build on last week's performance.
Falmouth were relegated into this league this year and their superior confidence and team shape proved to be costly as they took the lead with only 8 minutes on the clock.
Caradon looked sluggish and struggled to get any real foothold in the game. Chances for both sides came and went but the score remained 1-0 at the break.

The half time break gave chance for Caradon to regroup and they started the second half much the stronger team. Libby Walsh was linking well with the forwards and it was from one of her clever passes that Bizzie Dinnis latched on to, smashing the ball in the bottom corner to level the scores.
The match was evenly poised now with both teams pushing for the winner. Player of the match, Goal keeper Helen Delbridge made some crucial saves and Amy Greenbank clearing 2 chances off the goal line. Chances for Caradon were well cleared off the line or saved but it was Falmouth who scored the winner 10 minutes from full time.
Caradon threw everything forward but just couldn't find the elusive goal.
Next week Caradon entertain Penzance at lux park looking to get their first win and build in their promising start to the new league.
