Women's 1st XI Vs Kingsbridge and Salcombe

Caradon played their last league game before the Christmas break and came away with another 3 points after beating Kingsbridge and Salcombe 8-1. 
The game stared at a blistering pace and the home team were soon 3-0 up with Player of the match, Bizzie Dinnis, scoring twice and skipper, Clare Poad scoring her first of the day. 
Midfielders Emma Gliddon, Libby Walsh, Saffy Cripps, Clare Mitchell and Ellen Spencer all combining well to put the home team in complete control.

Poad scored from a penalty corner after another perfect injection from Amy Batty but soon after, the visitors scored a break away goal to banish any thoughts of a clean sheet. 
Just before the half time break, Cripps scored, finishing a good team move and the team talk was focused on still improving the intensity of of players and winning the ball back further up the pitch. 
Caradon were in dominant mood and few chances were created by the crest fallen Kingsbridge team. Poad completed her hat trick after a good advantage was played in the circle by the umpires and Dinnis scored another 2 to cap a brilliant performance. 
Caradon sit at the top of the table and will look to continue their 100% record when the league resumes in mid January.
