The Ladies 4s played CSOM 2 at Lux Park on Saturday morning and they went off all guns blazing, with Pippa Hedley scoring within the first 2 minutes, followed up a minute later by Sarah Strevens hammering one home for the team. Caradon continued to keep possession of the ball and were rewarded for their efforts, with another goal from Pippa on 15 minutes. A goal from CSOM in the 2nd half, woke up the Caradon players, who had eased up a bit and Strevens scored her second and Caradons 4th goal of the match on 54 minutes. Pippa Hedley saved CSOM from getting another goal, with a great goal.line clearance. With 30 seconds of the match left, one of the CSOM players sustained an injury to her eye and so it was decided to end the match there, with Caradon the 4-1 winners. Great play today from Defenders Josie Dudley, Caroline Hambly, Leah Rowe, Rach Quick and goalie Anna Gubbins. Fantastic team work from midfield and forwards Emma and Pippa Hedley, Lynsey White, Lily Maudsley, Ruby Wilton, Tiegan Bindon and Sarah "Browner" Strevens.
