Women's 1st XI Vs Cambourne School of Mines

Caradon recorded a very comfortable 10-0 win over bottom of the table CSOM on Saturday. 
Keen to continue their high tempo hockey, Caradon attacked staright from the first whistle and it wasn't long before top goal scorer Bizzie Dinnis had scored twice to make the students realise it was going to be a long game for them. 
The circle was under constant attack and Clare Poad scored the next two, after good link up play with team debutant, Neve Hunn for the second. 
Ellen Spencer and Clare Mitchell both converted good team moves to make the score line 6-0 at half time. 
Emphasis was on trying some training ground moves in the second half and CSOM struggled to get out of their half. Pivot for the day, Julia Eldridge, was dictating traffic and feeding the hungry forwards while Daisy Hunn and player of the match, Lucy Kay were impassable at left and right back respectively. 

Poad and Dinnis combined well to both clinch their hat tricks while Spencer tapped in for her second of the day. Winger, Emma Gliddon also got her name on the goal scorers list when finishing a good move from a tight angle. 
As the final whistle came Caradon celebrated their 100% record in the league and look forward to welcoming Kingsbridge to Lux park for the final game before the mid season break.
