Caradon Ladies 4s travelled away to Penryn to play Falmouth 3s on a cold, wet and dingy Saturday lunchtime. Play was end to end for some time and neither team could score, until Falmouth found the back of the net, taking the lead, which was shortlived, as Emma Hedley passed the ball to Erryn Lockett who put the ball past the Falmouth goalkeeper. The score was 1-1 at Halftime and after a rallying team talk, Caradon went back on to the pitch for the second half and took the lead with a goal from Emma Hedley. Caradon battled with Falmouth for the rest of the match and managed to keep them from equalising and went onto win the match 2-1. Some great overall team play and some good saves from goal keeper Anna Gubbins. Player of the match went to Emma Hedley, scoring her first senior team goal.
