Women's 3rd XI Vs Caradon Ladies 2s

The ladies 3s went out today ready to play some hockey.. and ready to get absolutely soaked due to the spectacular british weather.

As the start whistle went we knew we had to dig deep if we wanted to get a result in this game. As a team newly promoted to Trelawney 1s we knew that the challenge was going to be tricky but we went out and fought for it none the less. We played some beautiful hockey, with strong passes and great runs by our midfielders. Prior to the game we had a player drop out due to sickness so we had to step up and Charlotte Harrison took one for the team and played a blinder in defense and quite rightly won man of the match. 
The weather did not disappoint - it tipped it down the whole time - however sadly we just could not get past our fabulous Caradon 2nd team who deservingly won the game 5-0.
