1st home match of the season for Caradon Ladies 4 against Truro 2. Truro took the lead during the 1st half but Caradon responded with a goal from Sarah Strevens, assisted by Pippa Hedley. Truro were awarded a penalty flick, when the ball was stopped on the goal line by a pair of Caradon feet but this was saved by goalkeeper Anna Gubbins, to keep the score level. A green card to Strevens, unsettled the Caradon team and they went down 3-1 in the second half. Caradon managed to pull another goal back from a Sarah Strevens strike but couldn't add to their score, leaving them with a loss. Great team work from Lynsey White, Leah Rowe, Pippa Hedley, Sarah Strevens, Caroline Hambly, Louise Jones, Sasha Riddle, Anna Gubbins and Rach Quick and 1st senior league matches for Emma Hedley and Tiegan Bindon, who covered the pitch from end to end and never gave up.
