On a wet, windy and haily Saturday morning, Caradon Ladies 4s took on Duchy ladies 1s in a County cup match. Duchy 1s play in the Trelawney 1 league and are top of that league, with Caradon playing in the league below them. It wasn't going to be an easy match by any stretch of the imagination for Caradon and they battled their hearts out for the entire 70.minutes of the match but came away as 12-0 losers by the time the final whistle had blown. The Duchy team were relentless on their attack on the Caradon goal and Caradon sustained some injuries whilst defending the onslaught of strikes on goal. The Caradon team, should hold their heads high though, as they never gave up and fought until the whistle signalled the end of the match.
