| Match Report | Today we welcomed Duchy to play against for our cup match. We secured a lovely 5-1 win in what can only be described as horrendous weather conditions. From rain to hail with gusty winds and a spot of thunder and lightening, we surely had it all. The rain may have been against us, but Abi Larigo managed to put in front pretty soon into the game, scoring her 2nd of the season. It was not long before Jayne got the second with her infamous strike at goal. We were absolutely freezing and could barely feel out hands, but that did not stop Tux from doing what she does best, scoring! A hat trick from her and we were most certainly the winners of this game. Duchy made a good few breaks and certainly had us scared when their super speedy right winger shot up the pitch. However our defense was too strong and we managed to keep all but one goal out. |
