Match Report | The 2's had a very physical test against Duchy resulting in a 5-2 loss. The first 20 and last 20 minutes were where we saw the best of our 2nds, with some lovely passages of play and teamwork. 2 deftly slotted goals in the last 15 mins by John Pennington-Ridge, after latching on to some well weighted through balls by Mike Parkinson offering one on one situations with the opposition keeper. Fantastic hockey played by Drew Champion and Joe Stuart for joint MOTM and a special mention for Liam Champion for his impressive card collection by the matches end. The 2's remain positive with the help of captain George Rowe with his encouraging team talks and displays in goal. A win is most certainly coming! |
