Some games you wonder how on earth didn't we win others it is more how on earth did we get that result. After 20 minutes of this game it looked like this much changed Caradon A side were going to be on a deserved hiding to nothing. With 3 players taken by the first team Caradon A struggled to recreate the intensity that saw them win last week and although Penzance might have been a little fortunate to open the scoring with a penalty flick it was nothing short of what they deserved after 20 minutes played. With 25 minutes gone Caradon had gallantly defended 6 short corners whilst themselves not managing a shot. The game then turned on its head in the space of a couple of minutes as firstly Thomas Rowe reacted quickest to drill home a rebound and then with the very next attack Ben Reynolds repeated his scoring feat from last week to put Caradon ahead. With a couple of minutes of the half remaining Penzance got back on level terms and it was clear that a change was required if Caradon were to get anything out of the game. A switch from a 4-3-3 formation to a 4-4-2 gave more solidity in midfield and the second half was a far more even contest. Both sides had 4 short corners and although Caradon forced saves from the keeper they were unable to get back ahead and likewise Penzance struggled to make anything out of their short corners. A final score of 2-2 was very much a point won for a stubborn Caradon who now go into the Christmas break in mid table with 4 points from 4 games.
