Caradon Ladies 4’s took on St Austell at home on a wet and windy Saturday morning. Caradon were caught on the back foot, in the first few seconds of the match, with St Austell slotting home a well placed goal. Caradon battled on but couldn’t stop another 3 goals from the Saints getting past the defenders and into the net again. Despite being 4-0 down at half time, Caradon took on the second half with heads up and with some lovely passing from the mid/forwards and some brave tackling from defence they prevented any further goals being scored by the travelling team, even when they were down to 10 players, when one of the Caradon Ladies was shown a green card. The Ladies 4’s were unlucky not to score any goals themselves, despite several attacks on goal, the ball would just not go in their opponents net. A 4-0 defeat at full time with Tilly Scott being voted player of the match.
