| Match Report | Caradon 3's showed high energy and work rate on the Pool Academy astro this weekend. The team focussed on blending accurate passes with momentum resulting in a tidy 5-1 win against Duchy 2's. The first half seen Caradon secure two goals. Duchy retaliated with a quick break and delivered a powerful strike which was simply unstoppable. Neither teams flagged in the second half as they played some skilful hockey. Caradon player Neve Hunn stepped in to both inside mid and right back positions with ease with every ball on target. This weeks player of the match went to left back player Amber Jeffery who simply shone. Caradon continued to hold possession and secured a further three goals in the second half. This weeks goal scorers were Kirsty Merrin (2) Katie Fear, Jayne Longrigg and Lauren Gerry. An exciting challenge is ahead for Caradon 3's as they battle Plym Uni on home turf Saturday 1st February. This dual will be an exciting game for their loyal side line supporters, with only three points separating these leading two teams its set to be a real nail bitter!
