| Match Report | Caradon Men’s 1st XI hosted PGSOB A on Saturday. Riding high after winning their first two games in a new league Caradon found themselves in the unusual position of being 1-0 down after 5 mins. With frustration mounting Caradon continued to pile on the pressure but it took a well constructed cross field play and Neil Spencer arriving at the back post to draw the home team level.
With a foot hold back in the game Caradon grew with confidence. David Fasey netted a short corner not long before half time sending Caradon into the midway point 2-1 up.
The second half was a completely different game to the first, Caradon let the passes and the skills flow and got their rewards. Neil and David both picked up a 2nd goal each, Tyler Walsh also added two to the total and Luke Jeffery canalised on a loose ball to make seven. The Plymouth team did rally at points and managed to score two more on their own leaving the final score Caradon 7 PGSOB 3. |
