The first XI’s introduction the Southern 1 went well, an early lead opened by Chris Fasey from a long overhead, slotted clinically into the corner. The lead was quickly extended by a slick short corner routine converted by David Fasey. Harrison Pollard fished off some liquid hockey to put the home team 3-0 up at half time. Tyler Walsh scored a typically casual 4th and Fin Andrews took advantage of some Marjon’s foot work to pick up the Caradon 5th. After some strong stalwart defending especially from the man of the match Dan Harris, Marjons picked up a conciliatory goal and a confounding second from short corner. Overall a strong foundation for the newly promoted Caradon to build on.
