Match Report | Caradon kicked off thier county cup campaign with a comfortable 6-1 win over Newquay 2s. Right from the start, Caradon looked in complete control. Playing a high press, ball possesion was almost constant and chances were being created but it took until mid way through the first half for the visitors to score. A Carinna Hodge shot found its way over the goal limne, via numerous deflections, but the deadlock was now broken and goals came at a steady pace. Bizzie Dinnis was goal hungry and scored 5, with a mix of individual goals and finishing of good passing play. Newquay did score a break away goal in the final few minutes to spoil what would have been a perfect scoreline. The next round will be a home fixture for Caradon to be played on the 15th December. |
