What a way to start the second half of the season for Caradon ladies 4s. A well matched game made for an exciting watch for the spectators. Caradon battled well for the ball showing skill as the navigated towards the visitors goal. Many chances were had by Caradon but we just couldn’t find the back of the goal. Plym uni also tried to get a goal in but with Amber Jefferys, Hazel Ashman, Rachel Quick in defence and Anna Gubbins in goal they just couldn’t get through. Half time came to the goaless match and Caradon had a positive team talk to start the second half. Caradon came out relentlessly with most of the possession and their eyes firmly set on the goal. With only 7 minutes to go Jayne Longrigg scored the only goal of the game which consequently gave Caradon the win and a great start to the second half of the season.
