Match Report | Caradon 0 Devonport Service 8 Caradon knew they had a tough game ahead of them playing a full strength top of the table Devonport Serivce side. The Plymouth side started the game really strongly and brought out the best in the home team. They played their best hockey of the season so far defending with such tenacity, frustrating the visitors at every turn. The Caradon defence of Charlie Perkins, Emma Link,Hazel Ashman and Rachel Quick did their best fighting wave after wave of DS attack but it was only a matter of time before the visitors slotted home their first of the day. The game continued in this way for the remainder of the second half with the Caradon backs and midfield struggling to hold back the tide of the Devonport attack. |
