Caradon 3’s came away with a cracking 4-1 win against launceston ladies at lux on Saturday. It is clear to see this team have grown in strength througout the season, building play to produce fantastic results. Jayne Longrigg kicked off with a nice early goal from a short corner opportunity. Shortly after Ellen Spencer picked up Caradon’s second. Defence worked hard as Launceston drove down the middle where POM Sharon Jeffery was ready to intercept and clear any attacking balls. The second half seen Ellen pick up another goal. With Sarah Strevens planting an impressive strike straight past the keeper. Caradon could not rest easy though as Launceston battled the entire game but with Emily Joyce in goal and a strong defensive line only one goal passed them by. Hats off to Caradon keeper that was a cracker of a save on that final sixth short corner. A fast paced and exciting game - Lets hope this positive momentum continues when Caradon face top of the league Devonport Services on Saturday 23rd.
