| Match Report | Caradon 2s traveled away to Truro to take on Newquay 2s on Saturday who were sitting 1 point behind the in the league table. Caradon started with great gusto and by half time they were 0-3 up with goals from Tania Spicer, Erryn Lockett and Charlotte Reed. Great interlinking play, commitment and drive from all players contributed to this lead! The second half was a much harder fight, Newquay tried hard to get themselves back in the game but Caradon kept strong, in the dying seconds of the game Caradon were awarded a short corner and Charlotte Reed claimed her second of the match to give Caradon a fantastic 0-4 win. Player of the match was a difficult one but Charlotte Reed, Sadie Mullis and Charlie Harris all came away with 2 votes each to win the accolade jointly. This Saturday Caradon face lead leaders Duchy at home. |
