From the off the Caradon 2’s were the strongest of the 2 teams, dominating the centre of the park and winning back the ball. Caradon’s first goal came from Bryony Gubbins after her first shot was blocked she calmly lifted it over the keeper to break the deadlock. Before half time Caradon scored another through Ellen Spencer playing her first game for the 2’s. Caradon carried on dominating the play but with the home teams keeper throwing herself in all directions Caradon couldn’t get any further goals past her. In the 2nd half Caradon continued to work hard but it was Plym Valley who pulled one goal back and the game finished 2-1 with Caradon 2 gaining their first win of the season. Player of the match was Bryony Gubbins.
