Match Report | Caradon hosted bottom of the league OPM. Some individual skill from an OPM player opened up the Caradon defensive and gave the away team a 1-0 lead, the first half continued with Caradon struggling to get a foot hold in the game. A short corner taken by Tyler Walsh put Caradon back on level turns, shortly after a worked routine saw Tyler pick up his second of the game. Caradon went into half time with a slim lead.
The second half saw a formation change and an improved performance saw Caradon take the game to OPM, Tyler scored a third from a reverse shot at the top of the D, before getting a forth from another short corner. The fifth goal was scored by Jenson Cory at the back post cleaning up a messy ball across the face of the goal.
Like Jeffery added the sixth making sure a Leon Farrow shot crossed the line. The seventh and final Caradon goal was also Tyler’s fifth, tidying up a rebounded shot from a short corner. Caradon’s attacking mentally often leaves the defensive line exposed and with the end of the game nearing OPM exploited the space and scored a second. The game finished 7-2, Caradon are one game shy of winning the league. |
