The top two teams in the Division shared the spoils in a highly entertaining encounter at Totnes which saw Caradon maintain there lead at the top of the table and keep the destiny of the league title in their own hands - it is now firmly theirs to lose. After an early flurry of attacks from Ashmoor, Caradon started to impose themselves on the game with Ben Hedley and Harrison Pollard causing problem down each wing. After 10 minutes a short corner was awarded and although the initial shot was bloke Neil Spencer was on hand to drive the ball between his legs into an open goal. Within 10 minutes Caradon had extended their lead as a long corner was drilled into the D and fell nicely for Robin Fraser to lob it over the keeper. Other chances came and went and then Ashmoor worked a route back into the game just before half time as a quick shot was placed just out of the reach of George Rowe in goal. In the second half Caradon had a number of guilt edge chances to regain their two goal lead from short corners but although several shots beat the keeper a defender on the line pulled of a couple of stunning saves to keep the deficit to one. Ashmoor remained dangerous on the counter attack able to break with speed but with 3 minutes remaining it looked like Caradon had weather the storm only for one final break resulted in the ball playing ping pong around the D until an Ashmoor forward was finally able to force it over the line. There was little time for either side to fashion a clear opportunity of a winner as the game ended 2-2. Harrison Pollard was adjudged Man of the Match for his maraunding runs down the right wing. Next weekend Cardon entertain Torbay looking to keep their advantage at the top of the table.
