This was Caradon 4s first match back after having Christmas after a match was cancelled last week due to an iced pitch (this is set to be replayed on the 14th Jan) We certainly didn’t let the turkey and trimmings weigh us down today. We came out strong today using our defending skills well to gain the ball and move the play around. Caradon 4 pace continued throughout the first half and Caradon 3’s were unable to get a goal in, Our defending shone through the rain today! The second half came around With the rain still on us and the play became faster on both sides. Loads of great runs were made up the wings by the midfielders and we were very, very close to scoring. Unfortunately Caradon 3s managed to get three goals in the second half but the 4s kept their chins up and carried on trying to get our chances in. Everyone played brilliantly.
