Missing 4 players this week gave Caradon third string a few jitters to start this fixture but after a shaky start where keeper Lauren Bowdler pulled off a Maddie Hinch inspired save that whole team woke up! From that moment on Caradon dominated the play and eventually the first goal came through Pippa Hedley followed by another a few minutes later from Kerryn Walsh. Caradon began to settle and played some lovely hockey. Charlotte Reed scored the third goal just before half time and Caradon relaxed a bit more. Marjon’s came out in the second half with more grit and determination but Caradon squashed every opportunity. The game finished 5-0 to Caradon with Erryn Lockett bagging 2 goals in the second half earning her joint Player of the match with Emma Gliddon who played her first league game for thirds and worked exceptionally hard throughout the game.
