Caradon made a good start with both Jenson Cory and Ben Hedley have good opportunities only for the OPM keeper to make easy saves. OPMs then hit Caradon with a goal from a short corner when the initial shot rebounded into the path of an OPM forward to push home from a tight angle. Caradon had there first short corner well saved on the line by a defender but with their second short corner Captain David Lockett hit the outside of the keepers pads and it flew into the top of the goal and at 1-1 that is how the first half finished. In the second half Caradon youngster began to assert more control with Will Turpin running proceedings in midfield. How Ben Hedley and Jenson Cory did not get on the score sheet is anyones guess as between them they hit the post twice and the cross bar once. Lockett did put Caradon briefly ahead from another short corner only for OPMs to strike back with a shot that unfortunately nutmegged keeper Toby Riddle. Caradon were back in front when Lockett completed his hat trick as his mishit short corner just sneaked inside the near post and in the next few minutes his missed the chance to secure the points as he had two shots hit the post. This proved costly as with 5 minutes remaining OPMs drew level again from a short corner as the initial save fell to an OPM forward who drag the ball low under a diving Riddle into the goal. With time running out neither side were able to force a winner which leaves Caradon 1 point behind DART in third place with two games to go. Man of the Match was Lockett for his hat trick whilst Muppet of the Match went to Jake Wright who failed to turn up as he had the wrong date in his diary!!
