Caradon men’s second team entertained PGSOB on Saturday in a game they knew would be a challenge without the influential captain Lockett and other players out through injury. The mid field combination of Will Turpin and Mike Parkinson worked hard to control the game and linked up well with forward Jenson Cory who manged to put one passed the keeper to score the first goal. Will Turpin with some good individual play and support from Liam Champion and Jake Wright scored two goals putting Caradon 3-0 up. PGSOB then came back hard putting pressure on the defence and gaining a goal from a penalty flick and another through a short corner. The game was evenly poised with both teams battling hard until Caradon scored their fourth goal through a well hit shot from Oliver Hedges. The match ended 4-2 to Caradon A, with joint man of the match going to Will Turpin and Jenson Corey, the muppet went to George Rowe who voted for himself!
