Match Report | Caradon 9 - Truro 0 Caradon dominated the pitch this weekend pressuring the visitors D for the majority of the game. Truro threw all they had to keep the attacks on goal at bay (sometimes having 10 players in the D defending) giving away numerous short corners. The Caradons' defenders hardly had to touch the ball through this game but any stray balls were dealt with easily; the midfielders and forwards worked hard to push the ball forwards and stop any attempts by Truro to clear the ball from danger. Charlie Harris, Rachel Luiten and Pippa Hedley worked particularly well together in the middle of the park passing between each other to push for goal. Caradon were rewarded for their efforts with hat tricks from 'Captain' Shelley Lockett & Bryony Gubbins and goals from Rachel Luiten, Charlotte Reed and scoring her first ever league goal; Kerryn Walsh, pushing the team into second position in the league. A great team performance!! |
