Caradon ladies 2s were disappointed to have travelled down to Penryn on Saturday to face Camborne School of Mines, only for the game to be abandoned after 20 minutes. Storm Brian was in full force and the driving rain and high winds were judged dangerous by the umpires, with some movement of the goals off their lines. Caradon were missing a number of regulars and were just settling into the game, coming back to 1-1 when time was called. This tricky fixture, will now be rescheduled. Next week sees a return to the same pitch for a cup tie against Falmouth 1s.
