Match Report | Caradon travelled to Okehampton, confidant of continuing thier good run of form but put in thier worst performance of the season and failed to add any points to the seasons tally. Okehampton were up for the fight and competed hard for every loose ball. Caradon struggled to string phases of play together and looked flat and out of ideas. It was stalemate at half time and with a few tactical changes, Cardon began to look more threatening. Player of the match, Beth Harris, worked tirelessly but possesion of the ball was proving troublesome for the visitors. Frustration at the uncharcteristic lack of composure saw Sadie Mullis and Harris both recieve green gards within seconds of each other. Although Caradon battled to keep the scores even during the suspensions they conceeded the killer goal with minutes remaining. Caradon need to brush themselves off in time for this weeks home fixture against Exe knowing that a good end of season run in could still see them with a top three finish. |
