| Match Report | Caradon vs Truro 05/02/17 A top quality performance from Caradon, who fielded an unusual 1st team against Truro B this Sunday in a cup game. Caradon witnessed the rare spectacle of Tim Wright in goal, as well as a great team performance from a the under 16s, who had already played a game earlier, Jack Rowe, Jenson Cory, Ollie Allsop, Ben, Will Turpin and Oliver Hedges, another big round of applause for Evan who stepped up and played a great game and then we had the more familiar scenes of Leon Farrow, Sam Davy, Charlie Daulton, Spencer Snr and Chris Fasey. Caradon won 5-2 with goals going to Ollie A, Leon, Sam and two for Neil. All in all a great game to watch and play. The youth development side of the club is showing real results and you will no doubt see more of these young players in the years to come. Sadly due to a draw and forfeit in the earlier two games Caradon will not be going through to the next round. |
