Match Report | Caradon vs Bude 04/02/17 On wet and windy day Caradon faced Bude at Lux Park. The weather hindered the away team more than Caradon, who had the majority of play. Caradon's Neil Spencer broke the deadlock with a far post deflection steering it past the Bude keeper. Bude soon struck back with a miss hit reverse catching Dan off guard, floating into the side netting. Just before the end of the half they then took the lead scoring a short corner after the final whistle. The lead gave the away team confidence and they came at Caradon hard in the second half, capitalising on a break down further up the field Bude scored a third. Caradon rallied around the midfield, a solid game from Leon Farrow earned him man of the match. Using the change in momentum Caradon won a short corner through Ollie Allsop's run, the opportunity was not wasted with Fasey scoring from the top. The game wasn't over and a saved shot fell to another Bude forward who managed to slip the rebound home. Final score 2-4. Next week Caradon face top of the table Chard who are showing great form with an 11-0 on Saturday. |
