| Match Report | Caradon third string hosted truro II's at the weekend. Captain Lockett knew this was a game caradon could potentially win with Truro only one point ahead in the league and Caradon were really keen to get another 3points under their belt. The home side started strong and kept the pressure up and were in the travelers D from the off; lots of chances were happening and finally a loose ball In front of goal found Erryn Lockett free and she knocked home their first goal. Caradon kept up the pressure but half time ended 1-0. Caradon and Truro both came out stronger in the second half and it was a well fought battle with the caradon young players Katie Jones, Bryony Gubbins, Daisy Hunn, Leah Jones, Chloe Higman & Erryn Lockett (caradon U14 & U16 youth players) all holding their own on the pitch. Finally Josie Dudley stepped up for a short corner and blasted it home giving Caradon a small buffer zone, the home side battled to the end and rewarded with their second win of the season, a great result!! |
