Match Report | Caradon travelled to Kelly College in the hope of building on last weeks’ win, but were well beaten by an organised Tavistock side. With Olivia Childs standing in for injured midfielder Glayne Price the game started well for the Cornish team, but once Tavistock had taken the lead after benefiting from indecision in defence they dominated play. Player of the match, Julia Eldridge, prevented Tavistock from attacking down the right but they switched play and Caradons midfield struggled to keep up with the quick change in attacks. Caradon did have chances, Laura Hill hitting the post, Clare Poads disallowed penalty corner, but Tavistock deserved the win and Caradon can have no complaints when beaten by the better team on the day. |
